After celebrating last years festival with a tribute to Puerto Rican women, this year we come to you with as much strength as ever. Planning for the 4th Annual Festival Del Cuatro in California is well on its way.
This year we celebrate our rich cultural heritage with "Cuatro con Trovadora". Featuring NEA National Heritage Fellowship recipient Yomi Matos, Cuatro virtuoso Alvin Medina y su conjunto and one of Puerto Rico's greatest Trovadoras, Yezenia Cruz.
This years festival will prove to be a beautiful tradition in California not to be missed! Mark your calendars as we are coming to you on the weekend of November 13, 14 and 15, 2009. A Tribute to Puerto Rican Women
The Third Annual Festival Del Cuatro in California kicked off with great success last night, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Garrison Theater on the beautiful campus of Scripps
College in Claremont, California. Emma Colón Zayas, Maribel Delgado, and Nelian Colón rocked the packed house performing a mix of traditional Puerto Rican music and contemporary latin jazz on Puerto Rico’s national instrument, the Cuatro.
